A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a memory lasts a lifetime. Having recently picked up photography through my career path, I have taken it upon myself to capture some of life’s best moments through a lens and a DSLR, preferably my Canon SL-1.
Since picking up a camera in 2015 with ICES Education, I have experienced a lot of trial and error. How else was I supposed to learn? Well, I took it upon myself to begin with the Nottingham Festival and then went onto bigger, better things!

Renaissance and Themed Event Photography
As previously mentioned, I got my start with the Renaissance Faire circuit beginning with the Nottingham Festival in Simi Valley. While that faire is no longer running, it still holds a special place in my heart and through that experience, I have sought out more events like it. These photos aren’t just from the Nottingham Festival, but also from the Renaissance Pleasure Faire, Big Bear Valley Renaissance Festival, and the recurring fun of the Pirate Invasion of Long Beach (which is stil going strong)!
